Bachelor of Arts Sociology (3 year)
The Bachelor of Arts Sociology program explores the behavioral patterns exhibited by individuals and groups. Through the examination of social processes and institutions, including family dynamics, education, health, social inequality, immigration, race and ethnic relations, and work in both paid and unpaid contexts, sociology majors uncover connections between personal experiences and the broader fabric of society.
Graduates from our Bachelor of Arts in Sociology program emerge with academic knowledge, refined research skills, and practical abilities, equipping them with a versatile skill set to navigate the complexities of everyday life and the job market. Sociology majors are reflective thinkers, who exhibit refined problem-solving and critical analysis skills – qualities highly valued by employers.
Our Sociology department’s robust research agenda enriches the classroom experience for Bachelor of Arts in Sociology students, offering current and engaging topics grounded in solid theoretical foundations. Our aim is to foster a friendly and accessible atmosphere for students, establishing classrooms that encourage open communication and collaborative learning.
