Jan 13, 2016
Designed to bring awareness to non-indigenous community, and medical and mental health students about the significant health inequalities faced by indigenous people in Canada, there were a number of prominent indigenous scholars and experts from McMaster and the region speaking. Sociology's Jeff Denis spoke on "indigenous conceptions of poverty and health in a settler-colonial context."
