Ph.D. Graduate student Nicholas Martino’s publication Dec (2020) “It should be equal across the board”: how treaty opposition among hunters and anglers upholds settler colonialism.” Canada Ethnic and Racial Studies

The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters is an organization that has opposed Indigenous people’s treaty harvesting rights and land claims. Using research from twenty semi-structured interviews, Martino, analyses and compares the views on treaty rights between the OFAH and hunters and fishers outside of the organization.
