Max Stick (PhD Candidate, McMaster University) and Dr. Howard Ramos’s (Professor, Dalhousie University) research was recently published in Urban Research and Practice. Their findings show that municipal funding cutbacks are not a result of improvements on the ground or decreases in demand. They are a byproduct of austerity policies at multiple levels of government.
