Dr. Kaida’s most recent research, funded by a SSHRC Insight Grant, was published in the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies. Kaida, Feng Hou (Statistics Canada), and Max Stick (PhD student, McMaster) use the Longitudinal Immigration Database (IMDB) to analyze the employment and earnings outcomes of privately sponsored and government-assisted refugees in Canada.
