Congratulations Dr. Goguen: Alfred A. Hunter Memorial Award

Congratulations to Alexandra Goguen (née Pulchny) who is the 2024-25 recipient of the Alfred Hunter Memorial Award.

The Alfred Hunter Memorial Award was established in 1995 in memory of Dr. Alfred A. Hunter, professor at McMaster from 1984-1993 and Chair of the Sociology Department from 1986-1993, by his family and friends. The award will be presented at the fall convocation by the School of Graduate Studies on the recommendation of the Chair of the Department of Sociology to a Ph.D. graduate in recognition of academic excellence.

Dr. Goguen has a position at St. Thomas University as a part-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology.
